Mark Wahlberg, a fit person, sat down for an interview for E! earlier this week to do press for his new movie Daddy’s Home — but also, to impress everyone with the abilities of his biceps.

Alongside Daddy’s Home co-star Will Ferrell, Wahlberg explained to E!’s Marc Malkin that those one-arm pull-ups in the movie are no stunt. In fact, Wahlberg told Malkin he “probably did about 700 that day’’ of shooting.

Ah, but there’s a catch. Wahlberg said he had a “gentleman underneath’’ him to help him out.
“They didn’t want me to sound like I was giving an effort whatsoever so I’m talking very calmly during the push-ups and the pull-ups,’’ Wahlberg said.
