A 43-year-elderly person distinguished as Adejumo Maruf has admitted to taking a school minibus prevalently called Korope.
The one who was marched at the police order base camp in Osogbo, Osun State, pinned the robbery on his "unreasonable love for his significant other and youngsters".
Addressing newsmen at the order base camp, Maruf said his life changed contrarily after his better half abandoned him and took their five kids along. As indicated by him, he was carrying on with a decent life while he was in Lagos until around two years prior when he migrated to Osogbo.
The suspect said;
"It is genuine I took a Korope at Criterion Nursery and Primary School, Kelebe region, subsequent to working with the school for around 90 days. I did it to bring in cash and deal with my significant other and youngsters.
"I was carrying on with a nice life in Lagos State before things plunged more than two years prior and we moved to Osogbo. However, there was no change and my significant other left with our five youngsters.
"Since that time, things were significantly more troublesome. Along these lines, I took to driving the school minibus. After around 90 days, I went into the school and drove it away to Lagos.
"I was utilizing it's anything but a traveler transport before I was gotten following two days in the Ajah space of Lagos State. I love my significant other and youngsters and can do anything for them."
The state Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode who told newsmen that the suspect fled with the transport to Lagos State, where he changed it's anything but a business transport prior to being captured by the police, added that the man will be summoned in court soon.
