The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday, screened a 82-year-old non-vocation ambassadorial chosen one, Justice Sylvanus Nsofor (retd.), who declined to recite the National Anthem when a request was made to so. The refusal by the nominated one to recite the hymn had stunned individuals from the board of trustees.
The chosen one will be one of the 46 on the ‘explored list’ for whom President Muhammadu Buhari was looking for administrative endorsement for their arrangement.
The chosen one was solicited arrangement from inquiries, which he reacted to. The legislator speaking to Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Gbenga Ashafa (APC Lagos East), particularly, requested that Nsofor recount the national anthem.
