A driver of a tricycle popularly known as keke in Nigeria could not finish explaining his ordeal yesterday as he receives lashes of cane from a female passenger on the high way.
It was after noon on wednesday during a traffic congestion around Upper-iweka, onitsha. A lady came down from the commercial bus which was also held down at a spot due to the traffic congestion, headed straight to a keke driver and started flogging him. The flogging took place for about five minutes. This left everyone including the victim confused. The keke driver out of hunger warned and nearly beat the lady before the police intervened. What could have prompted this lady to get such a radical approach towards the keke driver??
Wakabia team was able to interview the lady. And the lady explained saying that the keke man was responsible for the traffic delays and no one was doing anything. She decided to take matters into her hands.
