Photos from Ohanezes Emergency Meeting With Anambra House of Assembly to Stop Nnamdi Kanu

The Igbo apex socio-political organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo yesterday, Thursday, met with Anambra State House of Assembly Members and Stakeholders to deliberate on mainstream political issues especially , the recent declaration by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu that there would be no election in Anambra state in November gubernatorial election if Referendum on Biafra was not conducted before then.













The meeting had in attendance, Chief Nnia John Nwodo (Ohaneze Ndigbo President), Chief Damian Okeke Ogene (Anambra State Chairman), Barrister Rita Mmaduagwu(Speaker House of Assembly), Hon. Gabriel Onyenweife (Menber Rep Oyi/Anyamelum Federal Constituency house of Reps), Chief Sir Victor Umeh(Fmr. Apga National Chairman).Chief Nwodo, in his speech at the meeting, cautioned Nnamdi Kanu over his Statement “That there will be no election in Anambra State come Nov. 18,” while stating that it was wrong to deny the people of Anambra state the right to vote, which is their fundamental human right.


As reported by Obidiegwu Obioma, Nwodo also, told a story to elucidate his point on Igbo marginalisation. According to him, he was driving from Abuja down to the South East, on getting to the Check point at Ugboloafor, the Road was blocked by Nigeria Police. A small boy was by the road keeping monies for the Police which they collected from motorists. “We told the Acting President these challenges as we met with him in Abuja. We urge members of House of Assembly, while on transit, if they see such, they should stop and demand that such action must end immediately.
