QUESTION YOU MIGHT WANT TO ASK: I have just switched from a MAMP/WAMP(version ****) installation to a A higher Version, MySql and PHP installation. I have got everything working, but I have started using my web app in the new environment and suddenly any INSERT commands are resulting in the following error
ANSWER: Locate my.ini file that is located in your WWW folder in a windows system. e.g path:"C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.7.14\my.ini" Open it with notepad
Look for ;sql-mode="" and edit it to
sql-mode=""
Save the file and restart your wampserver and you are good to go.
