An endeavor to attack an old age bank in Mpape region of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja by adrenaline junkie burglars in supposed intrigue with a portion of the bank's staff and security men was thwarted by Policemen and officers from the Guards Brigade.
One of the equipped looters was slaughtered during a weapon duel with security agents, while four others were captured after they were cleared out of the financial corridor with nerve gas.
Additionally held by the Police from Mpape Division for addressing were some staff and the bank's security men, who were suspected to have supported the outlaws' passageway into the financial lobby.
It was interested how they got entrance into the bank on a Saturday when the bank was shut with no opposition or shooting a shot.
