Court remand 7 suspects for allegedly gang-raping 11-year-old girl to death in Lagos - JusticeforFavour

 An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates' Court in Lagos has requested seven men to be remanded in Ikoyi Custodial Center for supposedly assaulting 11-year-old Favor Okechukwu to death. 



The suspects, Ajom Tabi, 37; Omobolanle Olowookere, 41; Aliu Bilyamin, 24; Emmanuel Okon, 24; Bolarinwa Olamilekan, 24; Badmus Abdulateef, 20; Azeez Quadri, 22; and Sunday Odunayo, 22, were summoned on Friday, October 30th. They were accused of three tallies of assault, murder, and debasement 


As per reports, Chief Magistrate O.G. Oghre didn't take the supplication of the presumes forthcoming lawful counsel. She rather requested the police to restore the case record to the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP). 


The officer additionally conceded bail to Olowookere (the subsequent suspect) after direction, Spurgeon Ataene, told the court of her non-contribution for the situation. She was allowed N500, 000 bail with two guarantees each in like total. 


The Magistrate dismissed the case until Nov. 18, forthcoming lawful counsel.
