A reestablished religion conflict between two opponent gatherings has guaranteed two lives at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede in Umudibia Autonomous Community, Owerri West Council Area of Imo State.
It was assembled that shooters suspected to be faction individuals gave dead a unidentified man at Federal Polytechnic Nekede intersection on Wednesday, November 11.
The perished was said to have been trapped by the furnished men at the intersection around 9am.
It was additionally assembled that another unidentified individual was gunned down at the School Back Gate on Tuesday night, Novemeber 10, at 8 pm.
As per neighborhood vigilante faculty, the killings were a consequence of a conflict between two religion bunches who were on a vengeance mission.
Representative of the State Police Command, SP Orlando Ikeokwu, who affirmed the occurrence on Wednesday November 11, said that the Commissioner of Police, Issac Akinmoyede has requested an examination concerning the two killings.
"We have gathered the two carcasses and stored them in the morgue while examination has started. We trust it is a conflict between two opponent faction gatherings," he said.
