Five people, including a little child passed on during a shoot-out between two opponent faction bunches at Lobia people group in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State
Representative of the State Police Command, SP Asinim Buswat, who affirmed the episode said four cultists were killed during the conflict which occurred in the ealy long stretches of Monday, December 28.
It was assembled that the two rampaging religion gatherings probably from Ukubie and Azuzuama people group conflicted during the recognition function of one Chief Genesis at Lobia II people group over a contention that couldn't be quickly determined.
As indicated by network sources, the little child, supposed to be the child of one Mr Amos, an indigene of Lobia I, was hit by a wanderer projectile. Three of the dead people are from Ukubie and one from Azuzuama people group.
"Two opponent religion pack conflicted at Lobia people group, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area on December 28, 2020 at around 0230 hours," said SP Butswat.
"The heartbreaking episode prompted the passing of four cultists. Their characters are yet to be found out right now. The bodies have been stored at the funeral home. Examinations have started." he added.
