FG and the Lagos State Government have said 795 houses may be obliterated to make ready for the development of the proposed 37-kilometer Fourth Mainland Bridge.
The Federal and State Governments said a great deal of endeavors were placed into diminishing the quantity of influenced structures from around 9,000 to under 800.

Talking at the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Stakeholders' perusing workshop with the Federal Ministry of Environment in Lagos, Environment Minister Mamoud Abubakar said there should be genuine responsibility with respect to Lagos State government on the remuneration for proprietors of influenced properties.
The priest, who was spoken to by a chief in the service, James Kolawole, clarified that however the venture would have around 16 arrangements, yet the best had been chosen.
"There was an arrangement that will influence around 9,000 structures along the hall, yet we have checked on it and gone for the arrangement that will influence around 795 houses, rather than the one that will take more houses. It is a continuous thing on how best to limit the negative effect," he said.
The State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development said the scaffold, which will associate Lagos and Ogun states, will go through Abraham Adesanya in Lagos and Sparklight Estate close to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.
A town organizer in the service, Mr. Abayomi Omolola Amos said the arrangement of the venture had been painstakingly intended to lessen the quantity of houses that should be obliterated.
The Federal Government said the proposed extension will support monetary development and improve global exchange.
