Kaduna state Governor Nasir El Rufai has said that Nigeria has the most elevated number of destitute individuals among the nations of the world.
Lead representative El-Rufai expressed this while dispatching the State Social Protection Policy on Tuesday, February 23.
In his words
"Nigeria is experiencing attempting times. We have the biggest number of needy individuals than any country on the planet. However, at whatever point a program is intended to help poor people and defenseless, we resort to an opening mindset in which notable individuals are apportioned spaces as opposed to focusing on those poor and weak that merit it. This is appalling. We should move away from opening mindset and utilize our social register to offer focused on help to those that really need it.
I appeal to every one of my associates, the political elites to if it's not too much trouble, drop this opening mindset and utilize the social register, so that, programs focusing on the defenseless really go to poor people and powerless.
