A re-arrested for armed robbery in Lagos 4 months after his release from prison (Ex-convict )

The Lagos State Police Command has captured a 23-year-old ex-convict, Taiwo Sunmomu, for equipped theft around four months after he was delivered from jail for carrying out a comparative wrongdoing. 


Representative of the order, Muyiwa Adejobi, who unveiled this in an assertion on Sunday, March 14, said the ex-convict and a few individuals from his pack had attacked Ijanikin territory of the state and were burglarizing occupants before he was captured by the police. 



"The Lagos State Police Command has captured one Taiwo Sunmonu, m, 23, on thirteenth March, 2021 at 11.30pm, for outfitted theft after he was delivered from the Kirikiri Correctional Center in November, 2020, having served a five-year prison term," Adejobi expressed. 


"The suspect was captured by the police agents joined to Ijaninkin Division, while reacting to a pain call, as the suspect and his gangsters were ransacking clueless Lagosians at Ajayi Street, Oto Awori, Ijannikin in Lagos State. In any case, different individuals from the pack got away." 


He additionally expressed that the suspect has admitted to the wrongdoing and different violations he had taken an interest in. 


One privately made gun and live ammo were recuperated from the suspect.
