Nice notorious armed robbers arrested in Niger state

The Niger State Police Command has captured nine infamous equipped looters and recuperated vehicles, arms and ammo. 


Representative of the order, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, who unveiled this in an assertion on Tuesday, April 21, said the suspects were captured at Bida Local Government Area, Farm Center and Tunga space of Chanchaga LGA of the state. 



"The Command recorded frequencies of burglary assaults in the accompanying territories; Bida on 14/03/2021, Farm Center Minna on 05/04/2021 and Niteco Tunga on 07/04/2021 in which individuals were looted of their resources and around six vehicles trucked away," he expressed. 


Upon the receipt of these grumblings, the Command took care of business and captured nine suspects at various areas in Minna, Bida, Abuja, Sokoto State individually and recuperated six grouped vehicles. 


He gave the names of the suspects as Abdul Mohammed (a.k.a Audu Dukku) 25, of Anguwan Masa, Bosso Minna, Amos Oyerinde (a.k.a Babanla) 25, of Barkin-Sale, Minna, Yahaya Jibrin (a.k.a Chamo) 25, of Anguwan Masa Bosso Minna, Abubakar Sadiq Jibrin, 20, of Shororo street, Minna, and Mohammed Abdullahi, 37, of Suleja. 


Others are Chibuzor Bernard, 28, of Suleja, Mohammed Usman, 35, of Tunga-Maje, Zuba, Abdulrahman Ali (a.k.a Bala) 33, of Barkin-Sale, Minna and William Godwin, 33, of Tunga-Maje, Zuba. 


The presumes who admitted to have effectively partaken in these burglaries are; Abdul moh'd, Amos Oyerinde, Yahaya Jibrin and Abubakar Sadiq while Moh'd Abdullahi, Chibuzor Bernard, Moh'd Usman, and Abdulrahman Ali are collectors and carriers of the vehicles. William Godwin was captured with a gun which was given to him by Mohammed Abdullahi and Mohammed Usman. 


He said during examination, two Toyota Corolla vehicles, one Toyota Camry, one Pontiac Vibe, one Toyota Venza vehicle, one privately made gun, one live ammo of AK47 rifle, and two void shell of AK47 rifle ammo, were recuperated from the suspects. 


The assertion said the case is being scrutinized and the presumes will be summoned in court when court resumes work.
