A Nigerian man was captured in Johannesburg, South Africa for supposedly offering medications to schoolchildren.
The suspect was accused of ownership and managing in drugs and showed up in the Hillbrow Magistrate's Court on Monday, April 12.
Police said drugs were found on him and he drove them to his home where more medications were found and seized.
Representative of the Johannesburg Metro Police Department, Wayne Minnaar said the SAPS Flying Squad and JMPD K9 captured the man at a level in Hillbrow on Friday, April 9.
Minnaar said Bad Boyz Security had seen the man offering medications to schoolchildren at the edge of Esselin and Claim roads in Hillbrow.
"On Friday, an individual who fitted the depiction of the suspect was spotted on CCTV cameras in Hillbrow. At the point when officials moved toward the speculate he gulped a bundle of medications known to be rocks," Minnaar expressed.
"The officials captured him and he drove them to a level in Hillbrow, where a sum of 570 bundles of rocks were discovered, which was purportedly being offered to youngsters at R30 a parcel."
Likewise found were four "full moon" drugs with a road estimation of about R2 000 each.
"The suspect was charged at Hillbrow police headquarters for ownership and managing in drugs," Minnaar added.
