No less than two cops have been killed by suspected punks who assaulted and demolished Zone 13 Police central command in Ukpo, Anambra state today April 19.
Affirming the assault, the representative of Zone 13 Police Command, Princess Nkiru Nwode said the order effectively repulsed the assault and furthermore recuperated a few weapons from the escaping attackers".
Sources say the fire in one of the structures was begun by a petroleum bomb tossed from a distance by the assailants, and this spread to vehicles pressed nearby.
No gathering has guaranteed duty regarding the assault.
