On May 27, 2021, Grammy-winning Nigerian whiz, Wizkid and Burna Boy got a designation each at the 2021 BET Awards.
The two hotshots got named in the Best International Act classification. French vocalists, Aya Nakamura and Youssoupha; Tanzanian genius, Diamond Platnumz; Brazlian act, Emicida; British demonstrations, the rapper Headie One and the pair Yung T and Bugsey are completely designated in the classification also.
Burna Boy has won over the most recent two years and Wizkid won it in 2012, when the classification had two divisions for Africa and the UK.
Prior in the year, Wizkid and Burna Boy won the Best Music Video and Best Global Music Album classes separately at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
Agreeing Business Wire, globally, the show will simulcast on BET Africa at 2 am CAT and MTV Brazil at 9 pm BRT on June 27th, trailed by worldwide transmissions on MTV UK on June 28th at 9 pm BST, BET France on June 29th at 8:45pm CEST.
