Federal Government declares Wednesday and Thursday public holidays

 The Federal Government has announced Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13, May, 2021 as Public Holidays to stamp the current year's Eidul-Fitr festivity.

This is contained in an articulation on Monday May 10, by the Permanent Secretary of the service, Dr. Shuaib Belgore.

The assertion cited the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola while making the statement for the Federal Government today in Abuja, as praising the Muslim steadfast on the event.

Aregbesola, who accepts that advancement can't flourish in a malicious environment, encouraged all "Nigerians to be well behaved and embrace the soul of affection, self-control, benevolence, and resistance, as educated by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him)".

Eid al-Fitr marks the finish of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, and the occasion starts as per the locating of the new moon.
