An officer court, a High court, and a divisional police headquarters in Atta people group, Njaba neighborhood government space of Imo State have been assaulted by obscure shooters.
As per reports, the shooters who came in their numbers, raged the public offices on Friday night, shooting inconsistently into the air under the steady gaze of setting the courts and the police headquarters on fire. Fortunately no life was lost in the assault.
Affirming the assaults, the representative of the state police order, Bala Elkana, said
"Upon the receipt of the protest, Police Special Forces were sent to the scene.
The Commissioner of Police Imo state, CP Abutu Yaro, fdc has requested a full examination concerning the occurrence and coordinated that no stone ought to be left unturned until the culprits of such offensive wrongdoing are secured and made to confront the full weight of the law."
