Previous Nigerian President, His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan has been selected as Chancellor of Cavendish University Uganda (CUU), in Uganda.
The University made the declaration via online media, through its Twitter handle.
"Welcome on board @GEJonathan as you take over as the Chancellor of CUU. We anticipate this new period and accomplishing incredible things under your initiative.
Achievement starts at Cavendish!"
Jonathan's arrangement makes him the third chancellor of the college, after Benjamin Mkapa, the late President of the United Republic of Tanzania, the subsequent Chancellor, and the late Dr. Kenneth Kaunda previous President of the Republic of Zambia, who was the pioneer Chancellor.
Mr. Jonathan is relied upon to be introduced on August 26, 2021, on schedule to manage the conferment of degrees and grant of recognitions and testaments at the University's tenth Graduation Ceremony which will occur at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort on a similar date.
