'We made him a major offer two months prior – at the level of the best players – and another significantly more as of late which was much higher, however this is a system of Real Madrid, to have the name of one of our players.

'Throughout the previous two years the conduct of Madrid has been wrong, illicit, reaching out to his delegates, inadmissible, totally mistaken towards us. What's more, the evidence of this technique is to introduce an offer seven days before the market closes and a year prior to the furthest limit of his agreement. It appears to be a system that recommends they have taken a stab at everything.

'It's not the aggregate [offered] which we accept to be far from our opinion. Furthermore, we won't sell a player for short of what we paid for him when he was 18. We need to give a specific add up to Monaco and the offer isn't adequate.'

Leonardo proceeded: 'I'm not going to get into figures however the €160m is short of what we paid for him. However, this goes farther than this.

'It's the manner in which things have been finished. It's rude. We have thoroughly took care of Kylian to be with us and multi week [from close of market] we won't change plans. Assuming a player needs to go he goes yet under our conditions.'

Leonardo likewise impacted back at the idea that PSG had guaranteed the player he could leave somewhat recently of his agreement on the off chance that he got an offer.

He said: 'How might we make a guarantee like that. Madrid have utilized the Spanish press and they have addressed Kylian shamelessly, it's extremely impolite and illicit.'

Inquired as to whether the club was annoyed with Mbappe, Leonardo said: 'We are disturbed. In any case, nothing and no one will prevent us from satisfying our fantasy. There is an agreement with a year left on it and an offer that is inadequate.'

'There is no arrangement B. We have an extremely sure environment at the club and everybody is amped up for the venture. We have never pondered an arrangement without Mbappe.'

He added: 'I have consistently said that he would not leave the club on a free. We have spoken with him a great deal and with his family and agents. We have never made the way for him [for him to leave]. Assuming somebody needs to go, we won't say no, however he will leave based on our conditions. We will perceive what occurs.'

This comes a day after news broke that Real Madrid have made a £137m (€160m) bid to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
