Three of the kidnapped casualties
Criminals have killed no less than 20 individuals and stole a few others in Gatawa, a town in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
The lethal assault happened on Tuesday night, September 28, scarcely 24 hours after one more in a similar nearby government region.
A nearby inhabitant, Basheer Adamu Gobir, said his more youthful sister, Rahila Adamu Galadima, was among those grabbed.
Mr Gobir said he didn't have the foggiest idea the number of individuals were killed in the assault.
"The fear mongers assaulted Gatawa yesterday night. They took nearly everything of significant worth in the town, killed numerous and kidnapped a few others. My sister, Rahila Galadima, was one of the ladies removed by the scoundrels," Mr Gobir said.
An unknown source told Premium Times the assault was dangerous.
"They came on cruisers as normal and begun firing inconsistently. They went from one house to another checking for food and different things however they likewise killed 20 individuals during the assault," he said.
At the point when reached, the police representative in Sokoto, Sanusi Abubakar, said he was going to a gathering and vowed to get back to.
Addressing PREMIUM TIMES in a phone meet, a part addressing Sabon Birni South at the Sokoto House of Assembly, Saidu Ibrahim, said the assaults have become unendurable.
