NAF commences probe of alleged aircraft, firing civilian settlements in Yobe state

The Nigerian Airforce said on Thursday that it has started examination concerning the supposed besieging of non military personnel settlements in Yobe State by contender airplane while following speculated Boko Haram fear mongers. 



An assertion via Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Director of NAF Public Relations, said, "Following insight on Boko Haram/ISWAP developments along the Kamadougou Yobe River line, an airplane from the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai was definite to react to the speculated fear mongers exercises nearby along the Nigeria/Niger line at about 0600hrs on 15 September 2021. 


"The airplane while working South of Kanama noticed dubious development reliable with Boko Haram fear based oppressors conduct at whatever point a Jet airplane is overhead. 


"Likewise, the pilot discharged some examining shots. Express that the region is notable for constant Boko Haram/ISWAP exercises. 


" Unfortunately reports arriving at Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Headquarters asserted that a few regular folks were incorrectly killed while others were harmed.
