Read why bag of sachet water increased from N100 to N200

Public President of the Association of Table Water Producers (ATWAP), Clementina Ative, has given reasons the affiliation expanded the cost of a pack of sachet water from ?100 for every sack to ?200.?

Addressing newsmen on Tuesday, November 2, Ative said the affiliation expanded the cost of one pack to N200.00 to empower individuals to deliver and give quality and healthy water to Nigerians as opposed to searching for methods of compromising, which may result, in pretense and inadequate water.?

As would be natural for her,

"We began deals of sachet water in 1998. Then, at that point, fuel cost was N11.00 per liter of fuel. Unadulterated water nylon was N170,000 per ton. The gathering pack was N700.00 per group. We were selling a pack of unadulterated water, which contains 20 sachets, and the retailers were selling N50.00 per sack to the retailers and a sachet for N5.00 per sachet to the overall population.?

Between 1998 to 2012, costs of all parts of our creation rose to point that nylon went to N600,000 per ton, gathering packs rose to N3.500 per group, fuel rose to N97.00 per liter thus do all parts of our creation from treatment medians to cleaning materials. We had no real option except to expand our cost to N100.00 per sack to the retailers. Also, a sachet was being sold for N10.00 to the overall population.?

Beginning around 2012, the costs of all parts of our creation have gone to an unendurable point that we can presently don't bear it. Nylon has gone to N1,550,000 per ton; gathering sack has gone to N7.000 per pack. Diesel is presently N320 per liter and we all rely generally upon generators.?''she said
