Young Guy died in Anambra as multiple accident occurred

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Anambra said a mishap including seven vehicles at Azia Junction on the Ihiala-Onitsha Road, on Friday, killed a male youngster and a male grown-up.



The Sector Commander of the corps, Mr Adeoye Irelewuyi, affirmed the mishap to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Awka.


Irelewuyi said the mishap happened at about early afternoon, and could be ascribed to loss of control because of speeding.


"The deadly accident included a unidentified driver of a Mercedes 911 truck with enlistment number UWZ556XA, three Toyota Commercial transports with enrollment numbers JJT07ZI, ENU589 XB and the third was not satisfactory.


"Different vehicles included were a Nissan transport with enrollment number

GOD21YM, a Nissan scaled down truck with enlistment number ATN787XB and a Suzuki Pick-Up with enrollment number AKL169XE.


"An aggregate of 63 people containing 52 male grown-ups, 10 female grown-ups, and a male kid, were associated with the accident.


"FRSC salvage group from Ihiala Unit Command hurried the casualties to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ihiala, where a male grown-up and a male youngster were affirmed dead and their bodies stored at the medical clinic funeral home, " he said.


While mourning with the groups of the dead, the Sector Commander asked drivers to guarantee they keep to suggested speed limits.
