Second woman killed in shark attack in Egypts Red Sea

 CAIRO (Reuters) - Two ladies were killed in shark assaults in Egypt's Red Sea, south of the city of Hurghada, the Egyptian Ministry of Environment said on Sunday.


Two sources let Reuters know that the body of a Romanian traveler in her late forties was found hours after an assault that left a 68-year-old Austrian lady dead. The two assaults occurred inside 600 meters of one another, off the bank of Sahl Hasheesh, as per the sources.



The service said in its proclamation that a panel had been shaped to look at the conditions of the assaults and any logical purposes for them.


It additionally referenced that the Governor of the Red Sea Governorate, Major General Amr Hanafi, has given a request to suspend activity of any kind in the space encompassing the assaults.


The main casualty was moved to a nearby confidential emergency clinic, a source at the Red Sea Health Affairs Directorate told Reuters. He added that there were endeavors to revive her, yet she kicked the bucket from her wounds.


A security source likewise added that the Austrian lady had been living in Egypt throughout the course of recent years with her Egyptian spouse.
