Trump former aide and son-in-law Jared Kushner writes he had thyroid cancer

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Jared Kushner, a previous senior assistant to then-President Donald Trump who is hitched to Trump's little girl, Ivanka, wrote in a journal to be distributed one month from now that he had a session with thyroid disease in 2019 that was already undisclosed.



As indicated by selections of the book seen by Reuters, Kushner composed that White House doctor Sean Conley pulled him to the side on Air Force One as Trump traveled to Texas to let him know his test results from Walter Reed Medical Center showed he had malignant growth and "we really want to plan a medical procedure immediately."


Kushner had the medical procedure just prior to Thanksgiving that year and figured out how to maintain his disease finding mystery in spite of working in a White House where news spills were uncontrolled. The book extracts were first announced by The New York Times.


Unbeknownst to Kushner, Trump knew about the disease conclusion: "The day preceding the medical procedure, Trump called me into the Oval Office and motioned for his group to close the entryway. 'Are you anxious about the medical procedure?' he inquired."


"How would you are familiar it?" Kushner asked him.


"I'm the president," he said. "I know it all. I comprehend that you need to keep these things calm. I like to hush up about things like this also. You'll be okay. Try not to stress over anything with work. We take care of everything here," he cited Trump as saying.


Kushner uncovered the malignant growth determination in his diary, "Breaking History: A White House Memoir," to be distributed on Aug. 23.
