Scoundrels attacked Buwade town in Illela Local Government Area of Sokoto State and allegedly killed 11 people.
A previous executive of the neighborhood government region, Abdullahi Haruna Illela, who affirmed the assault to Daily Trust, said the scoundrels likewise stole a few people at Buwade and Dambo towns.
As per Haruna, the criminals attacked Buwade around 8pm on Tuesday, August 9, soon after the Isha Prayer and began shooting inconsistently.
"Eleven individuals were affirmed dead while a few others were harmed. The two towns which were shut to one another are completely abandoned. A portion of the occupants escaped to Illela town, some to Gwadabawa while some are currently in Sokoto," he said.
The ex-administrator, be that as it may, said he didn't know about an assault on the Illela International Market.
"I hear nothing like that except for I realize they stirred domesticated animals from the two towns they went after," he said.
In the mean time, the director of Illela nearby government, engineer Aliyu Salihu Illela, on Wednesday, visited the local area to mourn with groups of the people in question.
He was joined by the D.P.O Illela Division, PDP Chairman of Illela, Alh. Abubakar Sulaiman Illela, among others.
