Arguably, Wizkid and Burna Boy are the two hottest Afrobeats Artistes in Africa right now, followed by Davido and others.
But it seems like Burna Boy is somehow bigger and more popular than Wizkid.
Why I said so?
Wizkid’s biggest song “Essence” ft Tems which was released 2 years ago is currently at 136 Million streams on Spotify.
Meanwhile Burna Boy’s solo hit “Last Last” released just 5 months ago has already attained 136 Million + streams.
Outsiders are silent achievers and don’t make noise on social media like FC.
If Burna Boy could achieve 136 million + stream with 5 months, that means he can achieve 1 billion stream in 2 years.
How will Wizkid FC, accept this defeat and disgrace?
