After a long illness, billionaire businessman and former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi passed away.
Berlusconi, who was 86 years old at the time, had a lung infection and had been suffering from leukemia "for some time." He kicked the bucket on Monday, June 12.
He was hospitalized in 2020 subsequent to contracting Coronavirus, portraying it as "maybe the most troublesome experience of my life".
In April 2023, doctors discovered that he had lung infection and leukemia and was in intensive care.
He was confessed to a Milan emergency clinic on Friday last weem for what associates said were pre-arranged tests connected with his leukemia.
Prior to his death, Berlusconi was in charge of Forza Italia, the center-right party he founded when he entered politics in the 1990s. Forza Italia was a coalition partner with the far-right Premier Giorgia Meloni, who came to power last year. Meloni did not hold a position in the government. Even though he lost his title as Italy's richest man in recent years, he died a billionaire with multiple investments in media-related businesses.
