Solved: Tailwind CSS has not been configured with the NativeWind preset error, React native

 Hell tech gurus, beginner and armature, if you happen to be having this error : Tailwind CSS has not been configured with the NativeWind preset.

Whenever you want to start your app/expo app, note that your tailwind.config.js file lack some line of code which might have been deleted by you by mistake or was not configured well.

SOLUTION

In your root folder, locate and open this file: tailwind.config.js

Make sure that you have this below code inside it

presets: [require("nativewind/preset")],

If it isn't there, update it and restart your project with this command: npx expo start -c
