Self confidence building Step One

          Acquire and Enhance Confidence. if we do nothing at all, then nothing will change. Attaining confidence is a process that starts as soon as some form of action is taken. If you are reading this book, this is clearly something you want to accomplish, so now is as good a time as any to start.

• The sooner you pioneer your decision for action, the sooner you can reap and enjoy the success of your efforts
Acquiring confidence arises from a combination of decisions, thoughts and action:




Once you have made the life-changing decision that you want to acquire confidence, your thoughts and actions, from that moment on, need to be in alignment with that decision.
To set the snowball on its course, take a moment to ask yourself the following question each and every morning. Let go of the need for an answer, and make a note of what shows up, register the thoughts that come to light:

• Confidence is a sense of absolute certainty that has no room for self-doubt. Confidence is a positive feeling and attitude that induces motivation and opens new opportunities that lead to success. Confidence is the leverage that can turn your life around, allowing you to achieve your true potential.

• Lack of confidence can stop you from achieving what you want in life. It is the core of many difficulties that stop people from achieving their desires. Lack of confidence is like a thorn that punctures the bubble of success and achievement. In the same way that you learned to lack confidence, you can learn to have unlimited confidence. When you are confident, you are in a strong emotional state. You can profit from this powerful state by training yourself to feel more confident. There are literally no limits to what you can accomplish. The only restriction that may stand in your way is the restriction that you place on yourself. The only limit is your imagination. When you stretch your imagination you can stretch your confidence to unparalleled levels.

• You feel a surge of confidence when you are doing something you are naturally good at. You are a blend of inborn strengths, talents and skills. Allow these natural abilities to steer you in your life; to build on your belief and courage, so as to push up the levels of your confidence. Acknowledge and appreciate the confidence that you already have, and recognize the positive qualities that are already within you.

•Confidence is a skill that you can implement in your daily life. To plant and grow a positive and optimistic confident attitude, you need to understand and accept that daily action is required on your part. The more you practice confidence, the more you reinforce it. Success has a habit of beginning as soon as you decide that life is all about acquiring and growing confidence.

Personal Discovery:
Aim: To focus on your purpose and pinpoint the resources you already have to be more confident.

Aim: Start making a small change in your confidence, in one specific area of your life, by identifying and focusing on the area you wish to change
• Preparation: Choose one area of your life where you would like to be more confident.
Tip: This could be in the area of: career, business, personal, social, relationships or any other.

• Action: Recognizing the small steps that you can begin to take. If you can think of one very small task that you could get yourself to do to begin to feel more confident in this particular area, what would it be?

Remember With that first action comes an influx of wellness. You know you have started the journey to build your confidence. The key now is to continue the momentum by taking at least one easy action every day. Consistency is essential. In time, the actions will become bigger, and you will actually feel more motivated and excited; more confident.
