Panic Rises In Kaduna Polytechnic Over The Hike Tuition Fee.

The rumour that the management of the largest polytechnic in sub sahara region, federal polytechnic, kaduna have raised the school's tuition fee by about 50% have been confirmed.

This happened in a time when there is no student union government to speak for the students. Information gathered from the students showed that the administration of the school under the leadership of the past rector, Mr Ibrahim increased the tuition fee by about 20%. Only for it to be increased by additional 50% under the leadership of the now acting rector, Mrs Catherine without any reason.

Efforts made to speak to the school management was abortive. But from the past student union members who paid a visit to the dean student affairs, Engr. kefas we understood that was the agreement reached with the immediate past Student Union Government though they promised to still look into issue.

The questions now is on behalf of who did past SUG made the agreement? Who will speak for the students? Whats the reason for the hike? Is kadunapoly now a private institute or a federal institute? Does the school really care about their students?
