Apart from scanning for viruses in your system, trying to figure out the kind virus that might be making your system to be so slow like this. there are other simple things we overlook, which might be slowing your system. The below two steps will guild you to make your system to run fast again, that is if not infected by virus.
1: press start button
2: type run
3: when the you see run program in light blue form, just click on it to open run search area.
4: inside the run text field type "%temp%" without quote and press enter to open temporal files which might have occupied some spaces in your hard disk.
5: Now highlight all and delete
6: Go back to first step again till you get to step 4 and type "prefetch" without quote. open and delete all file in it
7: clear your recycle bin and restart your system
