Ariana Grande went back to musical theatre roots with Still Hurting performance

Ariana Grande came back to her melodic performance center roots by participating in a virtual show on Monday night.

The 7 Rings hitmaker made her Broadway debut at 15 years old in the melodic 13, which writer and lyricist Jason Robert Brown formed.

In this way, whenever Brown offered her the chance to partake in the online SubCulture Artist-in-Residency show to help fund-raise for staff and performers during the coronavirus lockdown, Ariana rushed to commit.

Wearing a straightforward dark cardigan and inconspicuous make-up, the 26-year-old belted out the sincere tune of Still Hurting from the melodic The Last Five Years.

Joined by Brown on the piano and a progression of artists, the presentation was one of the champions of the night.

While Ariana has proceeded to produce a gigantically fruitful profession in the music business, she has constantly kept up an affection for melodic theater.

Already, she was connected to the job of Elphaba in the film adjustment of melodic Wicked, with author Stephen Schwartz once noticing that the makers would be "fools" not to "genuinely consider" her for the part.
