The Adamawa State Police Command has captured a 26-year elderly person, Eson Fatgoel for coursing and spending counterfeit Naira notes in the state.
The suspect, was captured on Saturday, October 31, by police agents connected to Numan Division in Numan nearby government region.
Representative of the Command, DSP Suleiman Yahya Nguroje, who affirmed the capture on Sunday, November 1, said Fatgoel has been spending fake notes in return for merchandise and ventures in Guyuk and Lafiya nearby government zones.
"Examinations uncovered that fakes notes are still available for use in those regions. The general population, especially merchants ought to watch while exchanging to abstain from falling casualty," said Nguroje.
