The Adamawa State Police Command has captured two suspects over the abduct of a 11-year-old kid at Sangere Futy, Girei nearby government region of the state.
Representative of the Command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who unveiled this in an announcement in Yola, said the suspects were captured on Sunday, November 1, by agents of Mubi North Division following report made to police over the grab of the kid on September, 2020.
The presumes Aminu Jika, 36, and Muhammed Umar, 32, the two inhabitants of Wuro patuji town in Mubi North nearby Government requested and gathered 5,000,000 Naira as payment from his family prior to delivering him.
"From that point forward, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adeyanju, coordinated for sure fire examination and conceivable capture of the offenders. The police effectively caught the guilty parties, recouped a Toyota Hilux, three number plates, Handsets, among different things," said Nguroje.
"The Command while guaranteeing individuals from its comitments to securing lives and properties , charges occupants to report any dubious individual or gathering around their neighborhoods to the closest Police Division or report same through any of the Police Command Control/Emergency numbers: 08089671313, 08107364974, 08053872326." he added.
The presumes will be summoned under the watchful eye of able Court for law on fruition of examination.
