In Ogun State - Suspected Internet fraudsters arrested for allegedly gang-raping teenager

 The police in Ogun State have captured three speculated Internet fraudsters, also called Yahoo young men, for purportedly assaulting a youngster in the Ijebu-Ode zone of the state. 


An assertion delivered by the representative of the state police order, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, gave the names of the suspects as Tunde Taiwo 22; Damilola Adesina 20; and Adegoke Amos, 21 



Oyeyemi said the suspects were captured after the casualty revealed the case at the Ilese divisional police central command. He said the casualty told the police that while she was heading off to some place around the Ita-Ale territory of Ilese Ijebu, the three men who were in a Lexus ES 350, confronted her and powerfully hauled her into their vehicle and headed to the Rationwa region, where they purportedly alternated to assault her at gunpoint. 


The representative said following up on the report recorded by the person in question, the DPO Ilese division, SP Yakubu Bala, prepared criminologists and raged their den, where one of them was captured. 


"The captured one drove the police to the next two, and they were hence captured. 


On cross examination, they admitted to perpetrating the wrongdoing and professed to have accepted that the police were done working, consequently they could do anything they preferred, however they were astounded when the police came after them."the proclamation from Oyeyemi read 


He added that the suspects have been moved to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for additional examination and arraignment.
