NDLEA recovers 27 rifles from two criminals in Niger state

 Agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Niger State Command have recuperated 27 new rifles from two suspects during a normal pause and search activity in Kontagora region of the state. 


The presumes distinguished as Danjuma Auta, 35, and Daniel Danrangi, 25, both male and from Dirin Daji, Sakaba Local Government Area of Kebbi State, were captured along Kontagora – Zuru street, Niger state on Monday night, March 1. 



As indicated by the Niger state Commander of the Agency, Mr. Aloye Isaac Oludare, the couple were captured with 12 privately created AK 47 rifles and 15 privately manufactured guns. The rifles were covered in a white sack while on a cruiser to an obscure spot when they were captured. 


"Kontagora where the weapons were seized is around 107 kilometers from Kagara, a town in Niger State where there have been mass kidnappings of ladies, kids and auxiliary school understudies over the most recent one month. 



"Primer examination shows that the fabricator of the weapons dwells in Kamfaninwaya, not far away from Kontagora, while one of the guns is completely stacked. The suspects and the weapons will be moved to the Nigerian Police Headquarters, Minna for additional examination and indictment of the suspects" Oludare said
