Two authorities of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) have been killed after obscure shooters assaulted their station at Nneyi in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State on Friday night, May 21.
An assertion delivered by the express order's Public Relations Officer, Edwin Okadigbo, said the shooters likewise bulldozed an authority vehicle of the NSCDC and trucked away the rifles of the authorities.
''A few yet to be distinguished shooters assaulted Civil Defense station in Nneyi Umeri in Anambra Eeast Local Government Area of Anambra State, shooting inconsistently.
The officials on the job drew in them in a weapon duel and toward the finish of the duel, two officials of the corps that supported gunfire wounds from the episode lost their lives.
Unfortunately, their rifles were trucked away after which the authority vehicle was set burning." the assertion partially read
