Vigilante thief confesses - I engaged in phone snatching because I am broke

 A vigilante official, distinguished as Musa Sa'id captured by agents of police in Kano has admitted that he occupied with telephone grabbing in light of the fact that he was poor.

He made the admission when he was marched close by three others of his associate at the Bompai police central command in Kano. Sa'id and his accessory have some expertise in grabbing cell phones from clueless travelers inside tricycle prominently known as Keke Napep. The vigilante official, said "I'm incited to participate in the telephone grabbing in light of the fact that I am down and out. "I subsequently schemed with these three people to grab telephone and offer it to get cash. I took the weapons (blades) in our office to use in the activity.

"This is the first occasion when I have submitted such an offense and I think twice about it," he said. The representative, Kano State Police Command DSP Abdullahi Haruna said the suspects met their waterloo while determined to submit their illegal demonstration at Ja'oji quarters. DSP Abdullahi who said that the Police had prevailing with regards to recuperating a Keke Napep and three blades from them, distinguished Sa'id's associates to incorporate Umar Mukhtar (19-year-old), Yusuf Kadda'u (18-year-old) and Walid Abdulsalam (19-year-old).


  He said the state's Commissioner of Police, Sama'ila Shu'aibu Dikko has requested the exchange of the case to Criminal Investigation Unit for additional examination, adding that the suspects would be endless supply of examination. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna anyway encouraged the overall population to quickly report dubious development of such gangsters to the closest Police station for brief activity and promptly report of misfortune or grabbing of cell phones to the closest station.
