Breaking: Federal Government arrests IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu

The Federal government has captured the head of the banished Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. 


The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, revealed this to newsmen today June 29. Kanu was captured in the UK and removed to Abuja. 



As indicated by Malami, Kanu's capture followed a communitarian exertion between security organizations in Nigeria and Interpol. He further uncovered that Kanu would be taken under the watchful eye of the Federal High Court in Abuja for the continuation of his preliminary on charges verging on illegal intimidation, backstabbing lawful offense, unlawful ownership of guns and the board of an unlawful society. 


Kanu was conceded bail in April 2017 on wellbeing grounds however failed to show up for court in the wake of ridiculing a portion of the conditions given to him by the court. He has been on the run from that point forward. Equity Binta Nyako who conceded his abandon grounds of his medical affliction later renounced it on March 28, 2019 and gave a Bench warrant for his capture in any piece of the country.
