 Arms stockpile director, Mikel Arteta, has uncovered why he has advanced Nigerian divas, Arthur Okonkwo and Folarin Balogun.

The Spaniard added that the two players have the yearning and they showed the longing to remain at Arsenal and battle to become one of the principal group regulars.

Arteta spread the word about this in front of Arsenal's Florida Cup tie against Inter Milan on Sunday.

Talking on Okonkwo and Balogun's advancement, Arteta disclosed to Arsenal TV;

"It is incredible.

"That is the primary thing they need to understand, the difficult work isn't done at this point. The difficult work will begin at the present time, and the assumptions start at the present time and in the event that they have this mindset, they have the potential, we put stock in them and they will have the chances."

"The two of them are truly unique and yet basically the same," Arteta added.

"They have both raised the level of the foundation to the point that it wasn't anything else for them, so we needed to hope to make the space around the primary group for them to have the option to create in the manner that we need them to.

"I think they are the right age and they have space in the crew to do that and they have the appetite and they showed the longing to remain at the football club and battle to become one of the principal group regulars."
