Police salvage grab casualty, capture speculated unlawful street drug dealer in Delta

 Agents of the Delta State Police Command have saved a 27-year-old grab casualty, Jeffrey Emekume and captured a presumed illegal street pharmacist, Aliyu Adamu. 



Acting representative of the order, DSP Bright Edafe, in an articulation on Wednesday, May 12, said the Divisional Police Officer of Sapele Division got data that Emekume was grabbed on the Eku-Abraka Road. 


"On the 8/5/2021 at about 2000hrs, data got to the divisional cop Sapele Division CSP Harrison Nwabuisi that one Jeffrey Emekume 'm' 27yrs was hijacked along Eku Abraka street Eku with his Lexus Jeep sky blue with Reg. No. RSH 716 AX on Sapele street," Edafe expressed. 


The DPO Sapele quickly assembled and drove Crack Teams into the bramble and the hooligan who, couldn't withstand the persevering exertion of the police deserted the person in question and escaped. Emekume was saved and the Lexus SUV recuperated. 


He said exertion is progressing to track and capture the escaping suspects. 


Edafe said the police captured the illegal street pharmacist, Adamu, 20, with 237 wraps of Indian Hemp during an attack at Hausa Quarters in Warri. 


"On the 9/5/2021 at about 1820hrs, in view of astute accumulated by the divisional cop 'A' division Warri CSP T.Y. Mahmud, assembled Rapid Response Team and assaulted a dark spot at Hausa Quarters where one Aliyu Adamu 'm' 20yrs was captured with 200 and 37 wraps of weed suspected to Indian hemp. The suspect supposedly admitted to be a significant seller in Indian Hemp. Examination is progressing" he added.
