Four captured for seizing truck load of flour

 Four presumes who allegedly commandeered a trailer heap of flour in Ogun State have been captured by the police. 



The suspects distinguished as Eze Anthony Sopruchuckwu (34), Eze Chijoke Edeh (29), Olalekan Ayodele Muritala (44) and Samuel Johnson (32), seized the truck along the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode expressway on April 16, 2021. 


They were totally captured following a report stopped at Ikenne police headquarters that the trailer, with enlistment number, ANG 57 LG, stacked with 600 sacks of Golden Penny flour and driven by one Ahmed Tiamiyu, was commandeered along the thruway. 


Ogun state police representative, Abimbola Oyeyemi said "the driver and his engine kid were supposedly taken to the hedge, where their hands were bound to their backs and their mouths choked, prior to removing the truck and the flour items." 


After the Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, coordinated that the case be moved to the Special Enquiry Bureau at state police central command, Eleweran, Abeokuta, for cautious examination, the DSP Ade Akiti-drove crew took care of business and set out on a specialized and insight based examination. 


Oyeyemi uncovered that the examination paid off and the suspects were seized on May 5 in Ikorodu space of Lagos state. 


He added; 


"Their endeavors took care of when one of the suspects was followed to Ikorodu in Lagos State and instantly captured. 


"175 sacks of Golden Penny flour were recuperated from the distribution center of the group chief, Eze Anthony."
